Northern Virginia\'s Walnut Grove is an amazing up and coming band that performs live throughout the Mid- Atlantic region of the USA. Original Rock & Roll is WGB\'s specialty: funky roots based music with kick & powerful lyrics. There\'s never a dull show for the wonderful fans, the \"Grovetrotterz\", keeping music fresh in the DC region. They are called Walnut Grove Band out of the Northern Shenandoah Valley. They have JUST released their third all studio recorded cd entitled Black Walnut (December 2004). Previously they have released Assorta Nuts (June 2002) and The Walnut Groove (April 2004). The band produces all original music, is a TIGHT three piece, and has an entourage of artists that creates their CD art. They have a substantial web presence and each year they produce an annual, all local/regional original music festival held outside of Winchester, VA called SoundQuilt. The music speaks for itself, but there is an eclectic mixture of genres on this disc that makes it unique. Wespen is a Blacksburg, Va band made up of guitarist and vocalist Dave Godfrey, bassist Jordan Eisenback, and drummer Stephen Dodge. Wespen formed in September of 2001 and have released two records since then. They are currently working on a new album but are available for gigs. An 'experimental/post rock' band from Lexington KY. We are also a band jumping on the bandwagon of 'killing' the music industry, by means of being lazy via the internet.
